The DDI initiative aims to get researchers working together at the crossroads of academic disciplines, where exciting innovations take place. The University of Edinburgh is already a leader in data driven-innovation, so the DDI initiative will shout about the results, promoting DDI research and the amazing benefits it brings to society and the economy. You can read examples of this in our DDI Chancellor’s Fellows profiles. On dedicated webpages for academic staff, you’ll find information on the many ways to get involved with the DDI initiative and the activities its supporting to encourage innovation between academics and the public, private and third sectors. There’s information on the institutes and research centres that make up the six DDI hubs. The Edinburgh International Data Facility is available for the data needs of projects, as are the resources of all the innovation hubs. This article was published on 2024-07-22
