Find out where you can grab a coffee or a bite to eat at one of the University’s cafés. Cafés Our cafés are open to the public and located all across the central area and on campuses at Little France, the Western General, King’s Buildings and Easter Bush. As part of our ongoing commitment to providing fresh food and healthy alternatives in our outlets, we offer a wide variety of delicious food, including soups, salad bar items, main meals, pizza and pasta. We try to source food locally or through Fair Trade where possible, and to eliminate waste. We were the first university in Scotland to win a Food for Life catering mark and accreditation from the Sustainable Restaurants Association. We hold a Good Egg award and a Food for the Brain award as well as Healthy Living and Eat Safe awards. Our cafes Visitor Centre and Gift Shop Our Visitor Centre has a friendly and helpful team who can answer enquiries on most aspects of University life and supply maps, prospectuses and a range of publications about the history and activities of the University. Whether it is a reminder of your visit, a gift for family or friends, or a token of appreciation for an important guest, the centre offers something for everyone. You don’t have to call in to buy: there’s an online shop, too.
