The University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Greyfriars Charteris Centre to support the local community. Speakers, including Professor Dorothy Miell, OBE FRSE, Vice Principal and Head of College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences, Jo Elliot, Chair of Greyfriars Charteris Centre, and Professor Lesley McAra CBE, Chair of Penology in the School of Law and Assistant Principal Community Relations, spoke about the two institutions' historic links with the Southside area and how we can work together to increase social inclusion.
